Setting Up your Phone for MTN Data Services (GPRS, 3.5 G)

MTN Logo
For one reason or the other, MTN Nigeria provides two options for which GPRS service can be set up on your phone and each option can be set up on most phones that are browser enabled. However, the type of phone you use determines whichever setting option suits it.

SMS METHOD (Authomatic Configuration)
You can request for MTN GPRS or 3.5 G settings by typing the word SETTINGS in an SMS and send to 3888 at no cost. In a short while, you should receive an SMS notifying you to save the setup information that will be sent thereafter.
Save the settings as soon as they arrived to avoid deleting them in error.
